Simons Properties in the 1970's
COMPANY HISTORY
A native Oregonian, C.B. Simons began his real estate career in 1968 as an office and industrial leasing agent and development advisor in what became known as Silicon Valley, California. C.B. returned to Oregon in 1977 to open the offices of Carlton B. Simons Realtors, and Simons Investment Properties.
Soon after arriving, C.B. Simons Realtors helped bring hundreds of high tech jobs to Oregon by negotiating the relocation of the Bar Code Reader division of Spectra Physics to West Eugene. Cheryl Conly joined the company in 1997 and has served as the company's Property Manager ever since.
The focus of Simons Investment Properties is development of attractive new multi-use properties and renovation/repurposing of obsolete commercial and industrial buildings.
Our developments house a success-oriented community of both national and local growth-oriented businesses providing services and employment opportunities in Eugene’s Whiteaker neighborhood.
